Palestine Legal Referral Services
The Palestine Legal Referral Services (PLRS) is an initiative launched by members of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers, Labour4Palestine and the Legal Centre for Palestine.
The PLRS connects individuals facing repercussions at the workplace for expressing views in support of Palestine and Palestinians with experienced legal counsel.
When you contact the PLRS, our in-take specialist will require basic information:
The general nature of the issue;
The name of the employer;
Unionized or non-unionized;
Your contact information.
All information exchanged through the PLRS is confidential. It is only communicated to legal counsel, who will communicate with you within 24 hours. An initial consultation will be provided at no cost.
Legal counsel selection is based on a variety of factors, including availability, experience and geographic location.
In addition to providing representation for issues at the workplace, lawyers who have partnered with the PLRS are also able to provide advice in areas of professional discipline, housing, defamation and academic investigations.
The exact scope of your retainer will be discussed directly with the referred legal counsel.
